Frequently asked questions.

Chick-A-Dee Hatchery FAQ

Where is Chick-A-Dee Hatchery located?

We’re proudly rooted in Geneva, Alabama, at 1776 Westmont Street. Swing by (virtually or in person) to experience Southern hospitality and poultry passion firsthand.

What types of poultry do you offer?

We specialize in heritage and hybrid chicken breeds, with a growing interest in quail. Our birds are selected for temperament, productivity, and good looks—because a stylish coop is a happy coop.

Do you sell eggs too?

Yes! We offer farm-fresh chicken eggs including our signature pickled egg flavors like Dill and Sweet & Fiery.

Can I order chicks online?

We are Continuing our break on hatching due to Renovations.

Do you ship chicks?

Currently, we do not ship live poultry due to biosecurity and animal welfare concerns. We prioritize local sales and community connections.

What’s the deal with chicken hats?

Glad you asked! Chick-A-Dee’s hat line includes fun, themed headwear for chickens and humans. Perfect for photo ops, events, or just clucking around in style.

Do you attend events or host poultry shows?

Absolutely. We’ve hosted shows at Festival on the Rivers and the Dale County Fair, and we’re always game for a good time. Look for our booth at local events with games, tastings, and giveaways.

Can I partner with Chick-A-Dee?
